I came across a couple of interviews of Mr.Wolff by David Pakman. Since then, it's been delightful to watch/listen him call out the absurdity of the capitalist system in the US (and increasingly entrenched the world over).

Well we could have had this but as boomers outnumber millennial's 2 to 1 70% of them voted Tory and 70% of the under 40's voted Labour and the ones in the middle either didn't turn up or split to libs and greens and so effectively two thirds of boomers and 55% of genX decided to bollox the economy via hard brexit, shaft their kids, ruins their future prospects and decimate possibly the last best chance civilization had to show a different way of working that was far more ecologically sustainable than capitalism that without radical intervention, will by 2030, have reduced our possible futures beyond 2050 to only one of two possibilities.

Very idealistic. Still good in principle.

Good idea, worth trying. Many things can go wrong with, but it's still worth a try. For example, giving workers the ability to manage themselves usually results in huge productivity spikes. This might actually result in more unemployment, rather than lower.

Honest question - If this is how it should be, why can't it just be allowed to take shape organically in the free market? Why is there a need for government intervention on its behalf?

If this crap is put into practice, it will be a disaster.

How do you account for the problem of differences in productivity? A 1% is a natural occurrence. People are different and so can never be equal. Nor should we want to be.
