As someone who plays both I cant really compare the two. Each has pros and cons just like anything and in the end are both fun. Its really funny that more that half the people hating on nerf are kids themselves who think there airsoft masters with their cheep crosman guns. A real airsofter shows respect of all gun sports, Nerf, Airsoft, Paintball, etc.

This is hilarious and completely true. Airsoft guns are (usually) metal, have a higher velocity, fire rate, and range, and just look awesome. Nerf guns have low velocity, fire rate, and range, and are ALWAYS plastic. It annoys me when nerf players act cool as if they can beat the crap out of airsoft players when it is really vise versa.
