Yes I should have stated that I removed the magazine safety. That is why I can disassemble it without having to put the magazine in twice during take down. I have disassembled and reassembled it in as fast as 17 seconds. I did not remove the detent because I didn't think I really needed it removed. I have put in the Volquartsen trigger, sear and hammer bushing. All are great additions and worth the money.

Yes, don't force it. You have the hammer strut jammed, putting pressure on the mainspring housing. I can't tell you exactly what to do but I have been there several times and patience is the only answer. Do you have the magazine disconnect still? If so put the mag in then dry fire then remove mag and tilt the gun up and down. (Side to side shaking does nothing.) Keep playing gently tilting, firing and try to pull out the mainspring housing.
