You're a regular, decent anime soundtrack artist around the turn of the millennium. Things are going OK and quiet, and then Noir comes along and Yuki Kajiura kicks open the door.

Great underrated series. I think it was just ahead of it's time.

I literally got into this anime because of this awesome opening!

I have just watched Noir and I have to say... WHAT HAVE I BEEN DOING MY ENTIRE LYFE?! I love it so much, that show it's so cool, and now I can only wish to forget everything and watch it again. Noir was amazing man!

I’m seeing so many people talk about how great this show is, which is great, but I’m not seeing anyone talk about how cool and artsy this animation in the op is. I especially love the the final scene of a man being shot at but it’s shown with 2 scene of cards and drinks being shot at cut together.

Noir is a very good Anime. The music is great and always seemed to match and enhance the mood of a given scene. This opening piece is cool. The closing song is one of the most beautiful ever written.

I just finished this anime. Great story, and a great ending. No need for a squeal.

In my opinion, this is one of the most underrated Anime series of all time. At first, it may seem like just a girls with guns Anime, but it becomes so much more than that. It has a great mystery, great build-up, the soundtrack is very original and memorable, the stakes get so high in the last several episodes and it has a great ending. Very interesting and engaging series that I'm glad I took the time to watch. 9/10.
