I need help. I have a yz85 and it's a 2 stroke. But the manual recommends 10w 30 four stroke oil for the transmission. Should I get 80w-90 gear oil or listen to the manual and get 10w-30?

hate to ask a stupid question but im getting to learn about 2 strokes and im not mechanically inclined. So 2 strokes, you change the gear oil right? is that it? or is there any other oil to change? clutch? transmission oil IS gear oil right? because the top end uses pre mix gas for oil in the top end so no need to change the engine oil...youre technically changing the transmission oil?

so do I have to mix gas with the 2 stroke oil and pour it in the gas tank I just got a rm 125cc suzuki 2 stroke yesterday but idk if I'm suppose to mix the gas with 2 stroke oil and pour it in the gas tank

I use the cardboard trick when I do my lawnmower. Works great on your bike a see.
