The nia has great keyboard and shortcut support - you can map paste, or zoom (control and - ) for instance to a high level jaw reaction, (emg), things like that.

you can use MUSCLE movement for GAS and BREAKS.And the EYE movement to go LEFT & RIGHT.

i bought it today,lots of fun to play.

I think the more realistic use for this product would be in squad based games. Leave the running and gunning to your fingers because that's what will keep you alive. Use the NIA for squad commands or any passive ability/command. ie: bring up a map, moving AI squads, switching camera modes, etc. Personally, I haven't seen any compelling reason to buy this product. Especially if a hand has to touch somthing to ground you out. <=/

so i dont get it... can u jsut think ofthe word reload and it reloads or what? i could see you twitching your eyes when u were doing actions, does it only recognise physical things? or what? how does it work?

@rodier2 Not much really - The amount of calibration time needed meant that further progress was annoying rather than fun, and got in the way of any other things made for it. Their are newer drivers which are much, much nicer and come with a 3d game to test it with, but still the same problems.

its very easy.Just Close left eye quick and you go left or drive left ,close right eye quick you go right or drive right.

lol what happens if you talk in the mic to your friend would it muck up your game? or if your mum comes in and starts hitting you?

yeah i bought one, worked that out :P i put the NIA box on the floor and put my foot on it, that earths me well and leaves my hands free for the keyboard

@sovietrussiaTommy the ocz nia really read your brain's electromagnetic waves but the hard part it's to control that brainwaves, it's SO difficult!! i think it's harder than playing a guitar well (at least for me) but with hard work i managed to control a little the alpha1 wave, i think i can do this :)

indeed, but I think what it does is get the brainwave/patterns/signals, the fact you're moving your muscles is not what trigers it, but the fact you're "thinking it" :) -hope I'm kaing sence here :D

On the other hand, this will 'force' you to think more, and on top of that it could be THE solution to carpell tunnel/RSI...

It responds to the neural impulses that trigger those facial movements, as well as you alpha and beta brainwaves. It's actually rather sensitive so you don't really need to pull funny faces for it to work and your reflexes can be well faster than by using your hands to control a game.

Man look it up. In guru3d they had an article for this. It's real! I'm definitely going to buy this. But as he said it takes a lot of time getting used to.

Hi, Iam interessted in this device, but I dont want to use it for movement, just for basic hotkeys. Can you tell me if I can use this together with the mouse and the Keyboard ? Like Aiming and moving with Mouse and Keyboard, and selecting weapons by the NIA.
