I know you can’t really account for this, but I really feel like rarity would pay her employees outrageous amounts, no? She is the element of generosity after all. Another thing to consider, she probbaly donates absurd amounts to charities or gives a bunch to her friends

No matter how much money Rarity makes, One thing is for certain. And that is like so many individuals Rarity earned her bits through honest hard work, Because as we all know Rarity puts her heart, soul, blood, sweat and tears into making her outfits.

The most expensive outfit worn by Taylor Swift on tour is a $13K dress, so that's probably a better price to assign to Sapphire Shore's costume. The show made references to Chanel, so I assume Rarity's brand is equivalent to Chanel. Chanel red carpet dresses are $25K-$100K, so Rarity's are probably in that range.

One gem being particularly valuable doesn’t make them all valuable. Maud said most of those gems were common and worthless. And a sale every ten minutes isn’t even that realistic for a fast food restaurant, let alone a custom dress shop when rarity has confirmed she isn’t into mass production.
