I have a BA Honours in Fine Art, and I gained my post graduate degree from the University of London. I am a fully qualified high school art teacher, and I would love to help you learn new art skills and techniques !!

I would highly reccomend all three.i have them and they make a superset. Where one falls short the other takes up the slack.

Just to let you know Polys just need more layers to get that smooth finish your after. I have a very light pressure by nature and even my firmist pressure leaves something to be desired with burnishing so I've learned how to layer. Luminance and prismas don't work as well for me for that exact reason. Just thought I would pass that on.

I really appreciate the information on how the three pencils blend differently and their lightfast differences. Excellent info and thanks for the time you put into this to give us some really solid info! BTW, love the irises in the eyes!

I have both prismacolor and the polychromos ( don’t have the funds to get the Luminace lol ) and I must say I prefer the polychromos. I can’t really explain it more than it just feels better. I think I prefer firmer pencils. I don’t have the full set of polychromos, but I do hope I get it for my birthday or Christmas next month
