They tried to sponsor my channel. They sent them out and I was shocked by how poor they were. You could tell they were just rebranded trash from Alibaba. I am actually shocked that so many YouTubers were promoting them. I would feel awful if one of my subs bought them on my recommendation

Pretty much every time a company calls their product “the next wave” it means that their product will in fact not be the next wave.

The fact that NO ONE was talking about this, except for sponsored ads was a huge redflag, if a product is good you will see reviews, comments, discussion and everything about it, and yes, maybe ads, but never ONLY ads

To be honest, all these ads for the Raycons almost convinced me to buy them. And you, good sir, saved me a lot of money. You literally convinced me to buy the other wireless ones without even TRYING to. Gotta respect the hustle

I have a friend who got them before I knew them. I’ve warded many a poor bloke away from raycons, but alas this man rayconned before I could educate him. Needless to say, I’m now researching alternatives at his request/my offer

The biggest red flag for me was just how expansive their marketing attack was. Sure sign of poor product when 99% of the budget is marketing.

A good rule of thumb is that whenever you see a company promote a product so hard to the point of annoyance, it's likely said product is full of shit the company behind the product spent more time on marketing instead of making something good

My favorite part of my Raycon experience was their customer service did a nice job of issuing me a full refund on their trash product

It's always heartwarming when the cheaper options are superior or at least a good alternative to overpriced options.

I want this guy to reveiw all electronics. He obviously tests them the best. He uses that Ipad as a work surface and continually smashes the back of it and he madea a really good point about the public transit bass loss. We need more heros like this to find out the truth for us!

A bit sad that many content creators I enjoy promote these but at the same time I guess I can also be happy now that I know they're taking money from a shitty company. Just wish they didn't have to do advertisements that might actually get people to buy em.
