I happily lived in Portland Oregon until it steadily became too dangerous and dysfunctional over the last 10 years. Favorite past-time = collecting vintage synths - Reading and writing poetry - Writing film scripts - Composing soundtracks and most of all enjoying nature.

"It's not very good"....?????? What the hell is wrong with you. These Korg string machines are epic. This and the PE-1000 are amazing machines.

MIDI was introduced in 1983, this machine was introduced in the mid-'70s.

This dude has lots of recording gear see the mixer in the background and the top of the line Prophet synth or similar looking type synth up top. Clearly he is poking fun and has full knowledge of the value of this item and the killer tone of this synth. He might sell it. Just maybe.

There is currently one for sale on eBay for $899. I'd say the $10 was a decent deal.

Boy howdy!!! Ya' don't say!!! :D In all seriousiness, I wasn't aware that Tangerine Dream also used a PE 2000, thats really cool! JMJ, yes I knew that! + Beach House also uses them. The Korg Lambda sounds quite similar to the Poly Ensemble when you put a good phaser with it, but it can do so many more sounds in combination. Beautiful vintage analogue sounds similar to Tangerine Dream.

I think it sounds great! You could probably sell it on eBay or whatever for 100$ or so. Make a slightly better demo of it - I can't hear the phaser or detuning in this one, put it with the ad, surely someone will want it.

Who cares if a vintage synth has midi. A minimoog, or countless other vintage classics don't have midi either, but that doesn't take away that they are great machines with a great sound. And if you want your money back, go and sell the synth and you get more than 10 times your money back when you look at what vintage gear is worth these days.

Threw your $10 away? Not at all. This thing sounds awesome from what I can hear in the bad quality recording. You can sell it for hundreds of dollars. $10 was a steal!

Lol, just ask JM Jarre what IT can do and who needs midi on this thing? ... but usb port would be better.
