What a great song. I always loved this album but never really thought too much about the lyrics until I read that it was maybe a diss at John Lennon and Imagine. It is now renewed to me.

I didn't know about this song and it's tie to imagine. Love Steely Dan even more now. I always used to shut off the radio when imagine came on. I didn't know others felt the same way.
