Description
Welcome to my layout in the fictional town of Waymith. The layout took me about 10 years to build.
I started my O-gauge layout around July of 2009. I like to consider the theme of my layout "Modern Realism". I wanted everything to be scale and finely detailed. It is 20'x14', not including my engine turntable area that is 4'x7'. The turntable has about 25 whiskers.
I run MTH engines with DCS and Lionel Legacy. I have about 40 engines in my collection....2/3 MTH, 1/3 Lionel. My track is Atlas as are my 24 switches. I designed my track plan knowing I wanted a 2-track main, then filled in the blanks from there.
At this point, my layout is complete and now I just run trains....I may add an elevated line later but I'm still pondering that idea.

Thanks for the review. I'm currently have two of these sets in my watch list on EBay. I think I just made up my mind.

Outstanding review Bob!!! Now I have to have one. By the way, I am an MTH guy too, but I am becoming a Lionel guy. The last three engines I have purchased have been Lionel legacy. Anyways thanks for sharing and have a great one!

There is always at least a couple on Ebay at any given time and Lionel just released a Burlington Northern version that may still be available from model train stores.
