Ppl will still make excuses for Gunn's Superman if it flops

Ultimately the issue is Hollywood believes everyone needs to see themselves in films. That’s not what most people want. People just want compelling characters, good acting, good action and most importantly great stories.

Yep there is so much writing on this film to not just be great but also has to make close to a billion dollars. If WB had just continued and finished the Snyderverse there wouldn’t be this much pressure on this film to succeed in all aspects.

Last time I check Superman 1978 and Superman 2 still exist

I dont understand what is the issue with Zack's Justice League Movies. I have read DC comics and they are extremely dark, I think Zack captured those in his movies.

It won't even be a fraction of what the Donner film was.

I was under the impression that Bryan Singer and Zack Synder were also very knowledgible about comic books. But I would love to hear RMB explain how Gunn's potential to deliver a Superman hit differs from the anticipation we felt when Burton was taking on Superman & he was the top director at that time, or Singer taking on Superman after big hits with X-Men or Nolan taking on Superman, overseeing Synder, after massive hits of the Dark Knight triology? How is Gunn different? Also, personally I hate the Kingdom Come S.

Coming from a writer director who loved The Flash guarantees it'll be horrible.

I loved Man of Steel. Batman v Superman was rushed. Zack Snyder’s Justice League was the awesome return of Superman. In spite of this. I still thing Superman 1978 is still the greatest. Superman didn’t turn the earth backwards, he accessed the speed force in a fit of rage to turn back time.

When it comes to Star Trek RMB hits the nail on the head.
