I love the way they created 3 episodes of each of his wives, how he met them and how they died. And how much he loved them, Ben was a man of great character. A gentleman.

Ben recalls how he fought a professional duellist in New Orleans to restore the honour of his third wife, Marie, Little Joe's mother.

The picture of his mother Little Joe shared on another episode , has his mother looking very different from this woman.

there needs to be more shows like these may then kids would'nt be thinking about killing other kids

I have turned into a Bonanza fanatic. I love the series. Somehow I find this episode"s Story Arc/Plot to be ridiculous. The uncharacteristically over- the-top acting and dialogue doesn't help matters. But...considering the series has well over 400 episodes, most of which are excellent, one clinker isn't bad.

Boring. I am going to watch Gilligan's Island.
