Ever since I discovered the MT-32 I've been a huge fan of the Sound Canvas line and a huge Roland simp...Apparently my boyfriend's 'rich friend' had an 88Pro when they were teenagers. He played guitar and wanted to make backing tracks for it... Minor overkill for sure!

Came here from your collaboration with Woody Piano Shack. I own the SC-88, but not the pro. The pro was known for the Japanese Game sounds I believe, back in the days. My kids and I make what they call "Minecraft" music. Bleeps and blops which honestly gives it new life. This Xmas I plan I buying the Altura Theremin, giving an awesome midi controller for the SC-88. Thanks for the awesome in depth review.
