@WIIRULESMAN It is as much the principle of why it was banned as to the actually effects of the banning itself. For the evaluating of L4D1, they rated it on the premise that players have to kill "zombies or creatures." When evaluation L4D2, they referred to them as "infected Humans,' building their own case for censoring it.

@filmguru I agree with you. I don't really understand the fascination with gore people have. The gore in this game doesn't bother me that much, because I'm so used to seeing it, but I am kind of disturbed by people who are outraged at the censorship. The American version has an option to turn off the gore, however, but I don't think there are a lot of people who use it.

Haha, no, it was released here, but the gore was permanently toned done. However, there's a few simple hacks you can do to increase the gore level, so I just compared the two...

You just toned down the gore level in the options menu Australia did not accept it because of the gore and it never got there

lol i want the gore version i know people dont want this gorey stuff but some do like me and still i dont blame you if u hate gore but lets just say valve should make a option saying for gore levels. =]
