I like that in sword and shield the adults are like: “Don’t worry little kid, just continue on the gym challenge the strongest trainer in the region will deal with a as ll the problems.” I think that was an excellent choice made by the devs.

The reason he have so much bug type is because he add a rule where he can catch as much pokemon as long it was a bug type even if he had caught a pokemon before at that route. It's a half nuzlock.

Damn the bug type right now is pretty stacked, I know before the bug type as a whole was pretty weak before gen 5. Also rip golisipod he was my first bug type I used in a play through.
